My Dulce Vida

¡Bienvenidos! I am Lety the owner and home baker for Dulce Vida, a pop-up bakery in the Chicagoland area. My business has been operating since January 2018. My two sons are a loving inspiration of the creativity that happens behind the scenes. My papá who was a panadero in Mexico has taught me much along the way. I am blessed to have the support of so many wonderful people which includes my husband, sons, extended family and all of my customers. Gracias!!

I started my business while also fulfilling my career goals as a corporate accountant. I felt there was a need to inspire cultural awareness of my Mexican heritage which I hoped would foster a natural connection with others. Food being the perfect universal language was the way to go. I decided to create desserts inspired by Latino flavors.

I've had the opportunity to connect with some amazing women entrepreneurs who have become my center of influence. Together we empower each other.

My sweet creations have been featured at events hosted by various Chicago area organizations; Pilsen Community Market, National Museum of Mexican Art, Hispanic Business Network, UIC Hispanic Center of Excellence Dept of Medical Education, Upshot Marketing and last but never least…your beautiful homes!.
